Checking Accounts

No monthly service charge on any business checking account provided a minimum balance of $1,500.00 is maintained. If the minimum balance during a monthly statement cycle falls below $1,500.00 there will be a monthly minimum balance charge of $15.00. Imprinted checks are required. Statements are furnished monthly; the ending date of the statement will be the end of the calendar month.

Business checking accounts with no service charge are available for qualified non-profit organizations.

We reserve the right to close any unsatisfactory account upon five days notice.

You are eligible to open a NOW account if you are an individual, a non-profit corporation, association or government body.

Interest on these checking accounts is computed on the daily balance and is credited to the account at the end of the monthly statement cycle. The interest rate and annual percentage yield is subject to change at our discretion.

There is no service charge if a minimum balance of $1,500.00 is maintained. If the balance anytime during the statement cycle falls below $1,500.00, a monthly minimum balance charge of $15.00 will be deducted, but the account will continue to earn interest. Your daily balance is the key factor in determining your monthly earnings, and your minimum balance will determine if a monthly minimum balance charge is deducted.

Enjoy no monthly fees and no minimum balance requirements with the convenience of direct deposit banking. Arrange to have direct deposits of Social Security, pension, or your wages or salary to your DCB Direct Checking account at least once a month to qualify for this enhanced non-interest bearing checking product.

Initial deposit of $2,500.00 and minimum deposits of $100.00 thereafter are required. Transfers from a Money Market account to another account or to third parties by pre-authorized, automatic, or telephone transfer are limited to six per month with no more than three by check, draft, debit card or similar order to third parties. There is a $5.00 charge per check in excess of three per month. Other withdrawals are available by mail or in person. Funds may be withdrawn without penalty.

The interest rate and annual percentage yield is subject to change at our discretion. Interest is credited to the account on the last day of each month. If the daily balance falls below $2,500.00, a monthly minimum balance service charge of $10.00 will be deducted.

Personalized checks and deposit tickets are provided. These forms are encoded with your number and should be used at all times.
